About Todd 

​The Long version

Todd Jones has always built his career around anticipating change—riding the waves of business and technology as they reshaped industries over the past three decades.

He began in 1991 as a stockbroker, entering the financial world just as Wall Street embraced computerization and global markets. The experience taught him about timing, strategy, and the power of emerging systems to change how people invest and do business.
 

By the mid-1990s, as globalization reshaped manufacturing, Todd served as VP of Finance in his family’s carpet yarn brokerage, gaining a deep understanding of supply chains and operations. He soon launched National Office Maintenance, scaling it from zero to $50,000 a month in sales—at the same time service businesses were increasingly professionalizing and adopting early digital tools to manage clients and growth.

In the early 2000s, as U.S. manufacturing faced upheaval, Todd acquired Fibertex Mills, running every part of the business from procurement to production to nationwide sales. These years gave him firsthand insight into the resilience and challenges of SMBs—balancing growth, efficiency, and customer trust in competitive markets.
 

Then came the internet boom. As websites became essential for business, Todd pivoted into technology, building CMS platforms for flooring companies, consulting on NetSuite’s cloud ERP, and exploring Pocket PCs just as mobile devices began hinting at the future. By the late 2000s, when smartphones and text messaging were exploding, he founded Firecracker Media, pioneering SMS communication platforms for schools, organizations, and marketing—well before mobile engagement became the norm.

Around 2015, while the world shifted to social media and cloud-first services, Todd took a detour into swim coaching for a decade, honing leadership, mentorship, and long-term strategy—skills that remain central to how he builds teams and businesses today.
 

Now, in 2025, with artificial intelligence ushering in the next great technological revolution, Todd founded AgentixAI. Just as the internet transformed commerce, the cloud transformed operations, and mobile transformed communication—AI is set to transform every process, decision, and business model. Yet once again, small and mid-sized businesses are being left behind.

That is where AgentixAI comes in. Drawing on his 30+ years of experience in finance, operations, manufacturing, technology, and entrepreneurship, Todd brings together everything he has learned to deliver real-world AI solutions that help SMBs work smarter, cut costs, and grow.
